I Won't Say (I'm in Love)
"I Won't Say (I'm in Love)" is the love theme from Disney's 1997 animated feature film, ''Hercules''. The song was written by composer Alan Menken and lyricist David Zippel, and originally recorded by American actress Susan Egan in her film role as Megara, while the Muses provided backup vocals. A pop version of the song was recorded by American singer Belinda Carlisle, and by The Cheetah Girls, which was released on the album ''Disneymania 3''.
==Synopsis==
After parting ways from a date with Hercules in which he reveals his devotion and love for her, Meg is deeply torn between her feelings. Having been heartbroken once before because of a previous relationship (where she sold her soul to revive her deceased lover, who eventually left her for another woman), Meg refuses to let herself fall in love again so she'll never have to risk going through such heartbreak again should a second relationship end like her first one did. The Muses try to convince her to be honest with herself and give love another chance; in the end, Meg relents and finally confesses her love for Hercules.
